TERMS OF SERVICE
By purchasing reptiles from Canuck Exotics, you are acknowledging that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions listed below.
Holds and Purchasing
Holds:
Reptiles(s) can be placed on hold for 25% of the purchase price IF the purchase price per reptile is over 250$. It is nonrefundable and or nontransferable.
OR
Reptiles(s) can be placed on hold for 50% of the purchase price IF the purchase price per reptile is below 250$. It is nonrefundable and or nontransferable.
*Reptile(s) are not held unless there is a deposit, if you show interest without a deposit and the reptile(s) sell - please put a deposit quicker so that you are able to secure the reptile(s) you’re interested in so you don’t lose out. I do not tell you if someone else is interested in the reptile.
Payment Plans:
The remaining 75% or 50% must be paid in full within minimum 30 days of when the deposit was placed, unless otherwise agreed to.
Ex. The remaining balance will be divided by 4 and each week a payment will be made.
Payment plans can be arranged on case per case basis, please inquire.
Payment methods that are accepted are: etransfer, cash, and Square.
Deposit and shipping are nonrefundable.
If you are not e-transfering:
I use Square and paypal.

Late Fees and Missed/Incomplete Payments:
When a payment plan has been made, it must be honoured. All payments must be on said agreed dates by midnight my time zone : GMT-4
Payment plan fees do not reset if extended or have additional purchases within said payment plan.
1st missed/incomplete payment:
Warning is given.
2nd missed/incomplete payment:
30% LATE FEE is applied
Ex. the payment plan was $100.00 installments and you missed to pay on the agreed date, on the next payment 30% LATE FEE is applied to your next payment date. So if it was next $100.00, the new total will be $130.00.
3rd missed/incomplete payment:
Same as above and so forth.
Shipping
Please use area code : N3H 4R7 for a quote - remember to add on taxes and keep in mind if you qualify for shipping deals below.
Shipping is an extra cost at the buyer's expense. Reptile(s) must be paid in full before shipping.
I ship through Reptile express, reptile runner and or if you prefer a certain shipping company, let me know.
I recommend hub pickups for shipping, as this will allow you to receive your reptile(s) faster (usually when the place opens they're waiting for you) and reduce shipping risks.
Shipping can take place on Mondays, Tuesdays and or Wednesdays or selected export days.
Domestic shipping includes arrive alive guaranteed.
International shipping does not include arrive alive guaranteed.
The reptile(s) are shipped to a third party (example reptile express/reptile runner) and as these companies handle the reptile, Canuck Exotics claims no fault for injured/lost reptiles. It is out of my control compared to domestic shipping.
Shipping temperatures must be between:
1°C to 25°C
41°F to 77°F
*If your reptile/shipping is all paid and you request to have them shipped when temperatures are not in the above ranges - all arrive alive, health guarantees, etc., are void. I understand large reptile shipping companies ship outside the temperature ranges above, but best to wait and highly recommend it.

Pickup
If you wish to pick up your reptile(s), I am located in Cambridge/Kitchener ON Canada.
There is a delivery fee depending if outside of Kitchener/Cambridge and scheduling. Fee is usually what it’ll be to ship minus kit.
If I am traveling near you, there will not be a delivery fee if it’s 15 mins or under depending on what GPS says.
Health Guarantees
There is a 7 day health guarantee on domestically shipped reptile(s), qualify for this please see below.
To qualify for the health guarantee, you must provide the pictures or videos of the reptile(s) when received, enclosure(s), feeding/misting/watering schedule, types of food/insects given, and overall care of the reptile(s).
If there is found to be neglect towards the reptile(s), including cohabbing of any kind (depending on species), the health guarantee will not be honored.
The care information can be sent before receiving the reptile to make things easier for you, but everything required must be in the 2 hour time frame after the shipping company notifies that the gecko is ready for pickup/signed for.
If there is no neglect or reason found to why the reptile has passed, the health guarantee will be honoured.
The health guarantee credit will be given towards another reptile of the same value, which can be applied at any time.
Shipping not included.
For international or combined shipping (reptile(s) staying with others where I am not able to care for them) does not get a health guarantee. I am not able to confirm the care given.
Tail Loss
Tail loss is out of my control, but does happen. Tail loss does not decrease the value of the reptile, and price will not change otherwise. I am not responsible for tail loss during shipping and or while in my care.
Sexing Guarantees
Reptile(s) will be listed as "unsexed", "no pores - Possible Female, NVP / pores seen -Possible Male, VP".
If a reptile is listed as "Male/Female", the sex is guaranteed to be those listed.
Refusal of Sales
Canuck Exotics holds all rights to refuse any sales.
